Winter season is going full throttle in Southern California and a bowl full of soupy, stewy nourishment is the best medicine you can give your body.  Finish it off with some crusty bread and you have a complete meal that'll hug your soul and warm your insides. Join us as our very own Chef Austin leads this class to help you conquer the cold with a powerful bowl of steamy soup and stew.

    1. Classic Chicken Noodle
    2. Pozole
    3. Chicken Gumbo

Learn the ins and outs of making incredible tasting winter favorites, that can be enjoyed year round!  Come out, walk the pastures, drink some wine, and take home some new skills while enjoying the company of our farmers and Chef Austin Alexander.

All levels of cooking experience are welcome. Whether you're a beginner, or an aspiring Michelin chef, we would love to welcome you to this workshop! 

About the Chef

Chef Austin Alexander comes to Primal Pastures with Michelin Star experience combined with local roots.  His formal training was at Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, and he's staged at multiple michelin properties (Quine, Coi, and One Market) and chef'ed at Rich Table SF, Ponte Winery, Thornton Winery, and most recently the Nightingale Temecula.  He is passionate about the farm to table connection and currently works the farm several days per week.
