Why It's Different
Most "grass-fed" beef is still grain-finished in feedlots. Ours isn't.
Prior to the 1950’s, butchers would often use the tri-tip for stew meat or ground hamburger before it finally took its place in the butchers’ case after becoming popular in the Santa Maria Valley.
Tri-tip is a flavorful, lean cut that is perfect for braising, smoking, grilling or roasting. Slice it like a steak or chop it up to throw in your chili. Just remember, when cutting your tri-tip, make sure you cut across the grain (which changes direction throughout the cut), which will ensure you get a nice tender bite each time.
We have partnered with two ranches in California to bring you the highest quality beef. To us, that means cattle that is raised on pasture their entire lives and are always grass fed and grass finished. There is no supplemental feed, antibiotics, or growth hormones ever used.

As a PA, I started this farm because I couldn't find meat I trusted for my own family. This is it, raised the way I was looking for all those years ago

Why It's Different
Most "grass-fed" beef is still grain-finished in feedlots. Ours isn't.
Our cattle graze on open pasture from birth to harvest — no feedlots, no grain finishing, no exceptions. A lifetime on grass means richer flavor, better fat profiles, and beef that actually earns the label.
Healthy animals raised the right way don't need pharmaceutical interventions. Our cattle are never given antibiotics, hormones, or steroids — not once, not ever. Because that's what "clean" actually means.
Our cattle graze on land free from chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Healthy soil grows healthy grass. Healthy grass raises healthy beef. We believe less inputs = better outputs.
Beef raised right.
Our cattle spend their entire lives on open pasture: no feedlots, no grain finishing, no corn, no soy. Ever. A lifetime on grass means beef with better fat profiles, richer flavor, and a nutrient density you can actually taste.
