Frenched Rack of Lamb
1lb average, 4-bone rack
Tender, flavorful, and ideal for grilling or pan-searing, our lamb rib chops come from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished lambs. While naturally smaller than grain-fed cuts, they deliver a rich, clean lamb flavor without excess fat.
Our lamb is raised at Anderson Ranch in Oregon, where animals live on open pasture and are never fed grain. This makes lamb an excellent alternative to grass-fed beef for nutrient-dense, high-quality meal planning.
All orders ship frozen with dry ice and insulated packaging to arrive in perfect condition. We ship Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend delays. Orders placed after Wednesday will ship the following week.
Our lamb meets a standard that a fraction of US producers can match. 100% pasture-raised on open range in Oregon. Grass-fed and grass-finished — the way lamb was meant to be raised. Completely antibiotic-free and hormone-free.
As a PA, I started this farm because I couldn't find meat I trusted for my own family. This is it, raised the way I was looking for all those years ago

Why It's Different
Most lamb at the grocery store is from thousands of miles away. Ours comes from Oregon.
Oregon-Raised on open pasture.
Our lamb comes from Anderson Ranches in Oregon's Willamette Valley — one of the most productive grass-growing regions in the country, and home to five generations of lamb-raising expertise. These animals graze open ranges year-round, never crowded into feedlots. That kind of land and that kind of care show up in every bite.
Grass Fed & Grass Finished
Our lambs eat what lambs are built to eat — grass, from open pasture, start to finish. No grain finishing. No corn. No soy. A natural diet means better fat profiles, a cleaner flavor, and meat that's genuinely worth calling premium.
Certified Humane & Regenerative
Anderson Valley lamb runs on a simple philosophy: healthy animals raised on healthy land. Our lamb is never given antibiotics, and never treated with growth hormones. Rotational grazing, and five generations of expertise are the protocol.
Pasture Raised in Oregon
Most lamb at the grocery store was raised overseas and shipped thousands of miles before it reached you. Ours comes from Anderson Ranches in Oregon's Willamette Valley, raised on open pasture, finished on grass, and never given antibiotics. Five generations of expertise, some of the best grazing land in the US, and a standard of care that most producers won't come close to. The difference is real, and you'll taste it.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most lamb sold in the US comes from Australia or New Zealand and travels thousands of miles before it reaches your plate. Ours is raised in Oregon and shipped direct to your door, frozen at peak freshness. Shorter supply chain, better traceability, and a farm you can actually learn about.
-
Not quite. "Grass-fed" is an unregulated label and animals can be grain-finished and still carry the claim. Most imported lamb (which makes up the majority of what you'll find at a grocery store) is finished on grain to maximize weight before slaughter. Ours isn't. A lifetime on grass means better fat profiles, a cleaner flavor, and a nutrient density that grain finishing can't replicate.

All orders with meat or cold items are packed in boxes with recyclable insulated liners, as well as dry ice. We calculate the dry ice needs for each individual address to ensure you receive your meat perfectly frozen.
It is very common for the dry ice in your package to have dissipated by the time it arrives to you. As long as the meat is still cold to the touch, the products have not been compromised.
-
Yes. Our lambs graze open pasture from start to finish: no grain, no corn, no soy. Grass fed and grass finished means exactly that. No feedlot finishing, no shortcuts.
