All of our pork products come from Clear Creek Farms in Spalding, Nebraska. They are pasture raised and given no antibiotics or hormones. They eat a natural omnivore diet of certified organic, local and seasonal fruits, nuts, vegetables, soy free, GMO free grains and barley that has been soaked and sprouted in whey. This by far the best hog available.
All orders ship frozen with dry ice and insulated packaging to arrive in perfect condition. We ship Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend delays. Orders placed after Wednesday will ship the following week.
Our pork meets a standard that less than 1% of US pigs ever see. 100% pasture-raised on rotating fresh ground. Corn-free, soy-free, vaccine free.
Completely antibiotic-free and hormone-free. Raised without confinement, concrete, or compromise. We've held this standard since 2012 and we're not changing it.
As a PA, I started Primal Pastures because I couldn't find meat I trusted for my own family. This is it, raised the way I was looking for all those years ago

Why It's Different
Most "pasture-raised" pork still eats corn and soy. Ours don't.
Our pigs come from Clear Creek Organic Farm in Nebraska — a 1,300-acre family farm where sows and piglets roam 7 to 10 acres of heavily wooded paddocks and open pasture. They forage, root, and live the way pigs are built to live. This isn't "access to the outdoors." It's actual pasture.
Clear Creek is also a working dairy farm, producing raw cheese from Jersey cows. The whey left over from cheesemaking, nutrient-rich and naturally probiotic, becomes feed for the pigs, alongside oats and peas grown on the property without chemicals or GMOs. The result is better digestion, better muscle development, and the kind of intermuscular marbling that shows up on the plate.
Bob runs his farm like an artisan, and that means healthy animals raised in healthy environments, not managed with pharmaceuticals. Our pork is vaccine-free, antibiotic-free, and raised without growth hormones. When pigs have real pasture, clean feed, and room to live the way pigs are built to live, they don't need routine interventions.

Pasture-Raised in the USA
Clear Creek Organic Farm sits three hours west of Omaha, a 1,300-acre operation that looks nothing like the conventional corn and soy fields surrounding it. Farmer Bob and his family raise pigs on real pasture, 7 to 10 acres at a time, feeding them whey from their own on-farm dairy, oats and peas grown without chemicals or GMOs.
Whey, oats, and peas, all grown on the farm without chemicals or GMOs. Clear Creek is also a working dairy operation, and the whey left over from making raw cheese becomes a key part of the pigs' diet. It promotes better digestion, muscle development, and the kind of marbling that makes the flavor exceptional. No corn, no soy, ever.
It means the pigs have real access to the outdoors — room to root, forage, and behave like pigs. They're not confined to crates or concrete. Pasture-raised pigs spend their days on open land, which changes what they eat, how they develop, and ultimately what ends up on your plate.
No antibiotics, no added hormones. Ever. Our farming partners raise pigs the way animals are meant to be raised, in low-stress environments with space to move. Healthy animals don't need routine antibiotics to survive.
Our pigs are never vaccinated. Pigs who live in crowded crates and pens are more prone to diseases because of the conditions. Our hogs are raised outdoor on pasture, where that isn't an issue.
Yes. Our pigs are raised without corn or soy, two of the most common (and most problematic) ingredients in conventional pork feed. Their diet is built around pasture foraging and a clean feed program, which means the fat profile of the meat is fundamentally different from what you'll find at the grocery store.
All of our pork comes from Clear Creek Organic Farm in Clear Creek, Nebraska. We've been working with Farmer Bob for over 6 years.
